XFX Radeon R9 280 DD Edition Series Owners Thread

What are you lot getting at idle? Mine's not dropping below 46'C even with two 120mm case fans feeding it.

Idle for mine currently is around 36c in my Ronin, with 2 AF120's pulling in and a H60 with 2 SP120's in push-pull - all at stock clocks. It goes between 32 and 37 most days idle.

Hmm. I have 3 Antec Truequiet Pros. Two drawing in on top directly feeding the XFX and then an exhaust at the rear quite snug next to the CPU cooler blowing into it. They're all on high (1200rpm, 46cfm each) at the moment but that's only dropped the tempurature by 1'C. Would like to see my idle temp in the 30s if possible.

Hi guys, I bought a XFX DD R9 290 2 weeks ago now and its slightly down on the right side. If you look at the top or bottom of the heatsink chipset of my motherboard it give you a idea how much its down. Plus you can see its down at one side without looking at the chipset.. Should I prop it up with something?

You could also route the PCI-E power cables to come from the top of the card to help pull it up.

Idling anywhere between 30c and 35c in a corsair 200d case with stock fans. Never seen temp go above 64c gaming and even kept as low as 70c in furmark.
