imessage??? how does she send a normal message lol We both had iphone 4s so if she turns off imessage will that effect any other message she sends? in the 2 years I had my Iphone, never heard of Imessage lol. So she needs to keep it turned of to message me then? wont that effect how she sends messages to anyone else?

My new Z2 is going to need a bigger deck chair :)

Quite a bit bigger than the iPhone as you can see. The screen quality is absolutely amazing. Sorry bout the crappy blurry pic, taken wit ha rubbish iPhone lmao

This is a common problem, you need to turn off iMessage on your old iPhone (Settings > Messages), then after a while it'll update and other iPhones will just send an SMS instead of trying to send an iMessage (green instead of iMessage which is blue). iMessages can be sent from different sources (like a phone number AND email address, usually Apple ID), which is why the SIM card is irrelevant and you can still get messages on your iPhone.

This is of course not a flawless solution, there might be problems. If you turn off iMessage and other iPhones are still trying to send iMessages to you, there are other things you can try, such as deleting the device from your Apple account, and removing the phone number, etc etc.

What's the Sony software and updates etc like? Soo tempted as had a HTC Desire hd and then a Samsung s3 which is due an update

Looks to be really good actually Winston, just used the Sony PC Companion to migrate all my data from my iPhone, (contacts, messages, pictures, videos etc) done a stella job.

Never owned an Android phone, so all new to me. Loving the phone though, was a little concerned at the size, but I'm sure it'll look smaller in a few days when I get used to it.
 
Can anyone tell me what the LED is like for notifications? Have had a quick look on the internet and not much in the way of a description. Couldn't find a video at all which shows it being used. Did I not look hard enough?
 
those with phones.. is the led definitely RGB?
i have seen it red, have seen it green but other phones do that and arent RGB

only other thing im interested in is stereo speaker quality

from videos i think i can handle the girth
 
Great phone, huge improvement over my S3.

Picture and sound amazing. Being in London 4G is great. In fact could get signal in my friends flat, I struggled to get a 3G signal before.

Just need to get a case for it now.
 
The colours were slightly better on the S5 and the stabilisation was by far the best on the Z2. The M8 looked like it was bottom of the list based on the video.
