Dirty Tricks could be enabled if people want it but, personally, I don't like it. You have some options of things you want to do, such as release mice onto the other teams training pitch, puncture balls, poison lasagne and the such. You have a certain % chance for the the dirty trick to be successful and another % of it failing. Lastly, there is a % chance of you being exposed as the perpetrator (sp?) or the dirty trick so the other team might seek revenge.

I don't like it myself, I think it detracts from the skill of managing your team.
 
The season is finally over and all of the promotion and relegation places have been settled. Congratulations to all those who did well this season, it's been a tough fight in all the divisions.

New season will be starting in a week or so after the season ends. We really want to get all of the vancant teams filled with managers or new teams in place to make up the numbers so if you know anybody that wants a team then now is the time to apply!

League ID is 119118 so make sure you search for that when looking for our leauge.
 
In case anybody is interested in a second team, I am in a league that is about to start a new season so new applicants are welcomed.

The league ID is 52250.

It's a small but well established league and is an offshoot of the Shocker Soccer forums (mainly midlands football teams forum but lots of others on there too).
 
New season has been set up. First game of the season is a week tomorrow to allow people to get a couple of friendly matches played beforehand if they wish and another training session complete.

The cup has been generated and the first match is on the 12th of June. I've been waiting for the right time for the cup to be drawn, I wanted it to finish at the same time as the league games draw to a close.

Well I completely forgot to set my tactics in the first leg of the cup game and I lost 2-0 at home. Not good and I get a feeling I'm going to be dumped out of the cup tonight :(
 
DC Galaxy haven't been logged into since the 19th of May so they are ripe for a takeover! Anybody interested in taking over this team? All users on the waiting list are currently looking for a new team only which can't be done until the start of next season so first person to apply gets it.

Set up an account on the site and search for league ID 119118.
 
I believe it is about 4am the day after the season officially ends (available on the League Info menu). Should be there tomorrow!

We also need to be thinking about getting a few more teams in. I'll start a recruitment thread, hopefully it won't get merged into this thread again like it did last time.
 
New season has been created! Make sure you get some training in this week and play a friendly or two if you wish to help get your form up before next Thursday's big kick off. Good luck to everyone and may the best team win, or perhaps me!
 
Yep, admin error on my part so it's now on a Thurdays :(

I can understand why people say they get a little bored of the game but it's a long term thing to play, not like a quick go on Pacman or Space Invaders. You can't build a winning team overnight so you put in 5 mins a days checking mails, training players, doing sponsor activities etc.
 
Do we want to recruit any more teams? The season is over and if I started a new one as things stand currently we would have the same amount of teams but a few managers have been away from their teams for a while. Ideally we'd have new managers at the helm of those teams or get rid of them completely if new players want to start from scratch with their own team.
