I sometimes do that against poor teams that I don't expect to put any real attacking threat as insurance against their GK playing a blinder and keeping me from scoring.

The cup has been generated and the first match is on the 12th of June. I've been waiting for the right time for the cup to be drawn, I wanted it to finish at the same time as the league games draw to a close.

Bloody 1-1 draw 
You can set default tactics that will apply for every game but you can't set tactics for individual games.
If you set up tactics in advance for your first game after you go away, combined with default tactics which are set for your next game then you can cover 2 matches but anything beyond that will require you to find a way to get online.

Should be able to set up Sunday's game after the cup match tonight and use default for the cup 2nd leg. Will miss the 22nd probably as unsure about internet access but should be back for the 29th so only 1 game down at least.
