Yup.

Ah well, crap happens.

Just been cleaning the gearbox up, what a nightmare, doing it by hand and WD40

Got half of it done, gonna invest in some degreaser and a pressure washer me thinks. List is growing of parts i need.. Getting a bit of a nightmare now lol

I think the trouble is that so many people know how to break in to these Fiesta's, so unfortunately they are an easy target

My mum threatened to kick me out the house for washing parts in the dishwasher once...

hehe. Shes already going nuts for me tipping oil on here garden floor. Bleh. Anyways been having naughty thoughts on fitting carbs to my Zetec engine. Dont know much info.. You know anything Penski?

Were it mine, I would go for bike carbs. They are the pinnacle of carb design, they really are.

You're lucky with the zetec; there is loads that has already been done with them So you can get on the blower to Bogg brothers and tell them what Zetec and what mods. They will ship you out a manifold and a set of carbs jetted for your engine. a little bit of fine tuning on a RR (if they need it) and they won't go out of tune.

A guy on RR bolted a set to his pinto (in a 100E) well over a year ago and they still run sweet.

PS: They will take up to 1 bar of pressure too

Get a blower on it!

I would go down bike carbs, but i have no idea what ones to get etc? Thats where i struggle...

From memory R1 carbs are the daddies...But then again, I don't recognise people I worked with a year ago when they say hello to me in the street. :/

Best to call bogg brothers...less than 300 quid gets you carbs for your engine, jetted to suit and a manifold to fit them.

Compare that cost to pair of webers which will need fettling pretty regularly.

Also penski, did you say £300 was including the bike throttle bodies?
