I am the same. It is far easier to select these than it is with visual illusions.

Yes, much easier to hear which one I want than I find it to see which one I want with the spinning dancer GIF for example.

All I did was pick a point when most of the Laurel sound is removed from the audio, 1.4khz was it. So I duplicated the stream, low passed one and high passed the other , then panned them full left and right. Thats it, no manipulation of the audio other than that.

Rroff said he heard laurel on the left channel, there's the slightest faint hint of it left on the left channel so it shouldn't be the first thing anybody hears. lf hes not hearing anything other than laurel on that channel then something is wrong but it isnt the audio.

This has really freaked me out now.

Someone at work said about this earlier and could only hear Yanny, tried all the videos in this thread, heard the same.

Just popped my ears, listened to the BBC one, now can only hear Laurel, tried the other videos again, all Laurel.

It's witchcraft.

I can hear both, although Laurel is the dominant one.

WHAT THE HELL IS THIS!? I can hear both depending on what phrase i concentrate on, even when looking at the opposite phase....witchcraft!?

EDIT: Ok now when listening to it all i hear is 'brainstorm'......am i insane!!!?
