I'm in Preston, I'm impressed by how warm it is now and I just checked the outlook and it's looking like upper 60's and low 70's into next week!

I'm not sure why people are complaining about the cold, it's not cold yet. The temperature here has just begun to reach an acceptable level where it's not too warm, there's a difference.

Preferring cold temperatures over warm is just freakish. are you looking forward to the short daylight hours and miserable weather too?

Omg i really hate cold and wet weather. It's just unbearable for my cold feet. Prefer the warmth.

i find hot humid days miserable, sitting in the shade drinking water all day cause the heat makes me feel sick.

rain and thunderstorms on a cold day is relaxing.

Supposedly it will be warm well into November this year!

However it was just like a month ago they were saying it would be a horribly cold winter early...

I never trust any kinda forecasts.

Im so glad summer is over, I hate that season the most.

Bring on the rain, cold, blizzards etc. Bliss. And Im not joking, even my family thin Im odd for hating hot weather. But for real...nothing more horrible than deep blue clear sky and hot sun.

I plan to go to Finland again in December, the -25C there is lovely...and it drops further when u go north!

Im sure I saw an article about a chance of snow next month in England. All of a sudden theres a freaking heatwave on the way!?! Typical UK!

I hope it hits next week, I'm going surfing/kayaking in Devon!

That sounds as fun as... laying on my deathbed...

In hot weather then either watersports like kayaking and sailing (in places where the sea is warm) or going for a nice long hike... There is nothing worse than just sitting out in the sun for no reason.

Personally I can't abide "boring" weather, grey cloud, cool weather, drizzle. The sort of weather you're not sure what to wear. Give me extremes any day of the week. Super hot and sunny or really cold and snowing/blizzarding or really cold and sunny. Unfortunately we get that so rarely in the UK as we have such boring weather!

NO!

Short daylight and cold weather is far less miserable than baking hot and blindeningly sunny is!

Preferring warm / hot weather is freakish, I cant believe that people actually enjoy spending everyday as a perspiring baked potato!
