YAY! Its cold again!

Heating has been on all afternoon / night time Saturday and I can't sleep, had to get up for air & water. Now I may as well stay up! :/

exactly ! i can barely do sports in the summer!

All day long in winter, hell yeah ! also, when it gets dark, game on ;)

I cant exercise or do anything but sit in a chair next to a big fan in summer either.

Its almost like having a weather induced flu constantly throughout the summer months, I sit constantly glugging on water with a fan blowing to keep myself capable of enduring the heat.
 
I have distinctly recalled abusing my computer on stress tests as a heater last winter.

Did it once with the heating on, extra duvet and woolly blanket because I had some godawful flu type thing.

Never doing that again though. I woke up 3 hours later with a body temp of about 40 degrees, staggered into the (much cooler) bathroom and collapsed feeling extremely faint while forcing myself to breathe deeply. I was radiating heat like a hot water bottle :(


On the plus side. I felt much better when I'd got over being almost cooked alive so maybe it did help.
 
So - it's cold in Britain then is it?

We're still in Crete (Chania) at the moment and I think the lowest temperature we've seen has been 30. :p

It'll be a shock to the system weather wise when we do land back home but for now we'll just alternate between the pool and the bar. :cool:

Are you fat?

IME the fatter you are the more you hate the heat.
 
I started sleeping under the sheet now because of the cold. I do sleep with shorts only though, no socks.

Its 27 deg here in Malta (its kind of chilly :D) and my PC temps have dropped since the summer.

GPU used to be around 50 on idle, not its a steady 44.

CPU used to be 39 on idle, now is 34
 
I ******* hate the cold, mostly due to work, i sit in an office opposite an entrance that has students coming in and out of it all day long, breeze shoots straight through. Not to mention my manager doesn't seem to spot when summer has ended so he still turns the air con on EVERY day at 19oC ....... :/
