They need a reason for the RMA to be raised. Most, if not all retailers will ask what is wrong with it so that they know what to check when it's recieved. The rest of their reply is the usual fob you off attempt though and is not in line with what ScottiB has promised in the OP. Taking up to 3 working days to test is not within 48 hours, and sending off to Asus is not issuing a like for like replacement. Try contacting ScottiB and pointing him to your customer support thread as someone either hasn't got a clue about the turbo RMA process or is just trying to fob you off and make it sound like it's easier to deal with Asus direct which is wrong as they have never dealt with the end user apart from with workstation boards.
