Yodel delivery driver didn't even knock at the door

Do you have a non working// no battery bell by any chance?

No we don't have a door bell we have a door knocker and it works fine.

What makes it make more frustrating was that someone was waiting in especially for this delivery as I needed it urgently.

I didn't have any control of which courier it was sent by.

Anwyay iv contacted Yodel and the best they could do was re-arrange delivery for tomorrow

Wanted to get a parcel delivered to a locker but it was full, today's driver decided it would be fun to ring every buzzer in the block and as there's no intercom there were a few of us there to sign for one parcel.

Well, for some reason my parcel was delivered to my house instead of my work as i thought I'd selected today so got the card through the door, text etc to say sorry we missed you. Just had a knock on the door from Yodel man and his delivery route had gone up the Glen he opted to try my door again after his deliveries had finished so i get my parcel despite not being in. How do i compliment this delivery company? :p

Ah, another story of Yodel's incompetence and failure to the job they're paid to do. This is the company whose employee thought it a good idea to leave the girlfriend's expensive parcel (£500 dress) in the wheely bin on bin collection day as the bin lorry was in the same street, and then blatantly lied about it - right up until it was mentioned that CCTV had crystal clear footage of them.

Pointless complaining yourself as the delivery contract is with the sender of the parcel so complain to them. Too many companies about that think they can wash their hands and tell you to "blame the courier" when the delivery goes wrong.

Twice I've been monitoring on CCTV when delivery drivers have turned up, looked at my house and then drove off.
Luckily they have to go round in a big circle so I run to the end of the street and flag them down with both claiming they knocked on the door.
"Oh, do you want to see the CCTV footage?".

I've had yodel just leave packages on my door step where the street has full view.

I was expecting a cat tree and got an email saying my neighbour had signed for it.

Came home to a 2ft square carboard box sat on the path up to my front door....my street has about 8 in a row on my side and 6 on the other side. Was like WTF!

You are literally that old man :D

Too many receivers think that the sender has more control over the parcel than they have. The sender gets the same response from the courier as the receiver. IE, put on hold for ages only to be told that it will be attempted tomorrow.

Places Yodel leave parcels for me with no note through the door:

- in my wheelie bins
- inside my food waste recycling bin full of grime
- tucked into the hedge so no one sees it for a week
- tossed through/over my side passage gate in the rain
- leant against the front door in full view
- in my hand after using the knocker/doorbell

What I don't understand is how they do this **** nationwide - it must be in their training materials to toss packages out the van window as they pass or something.

Yeah i've had a card without a knock from more than one company.

Mind you I feel sorry for the couriers, the last one I opened the door to looked like he was going to keel over - if their targets were a bit more lenient I imagine we'd get a better service and they'd look less stressed.

DHL parcel collections are hit and miss. I arranged a collection and the driver claimed no one was in but I was at home waiting for them
