You know when you have spent too much time in hotels……

You know where the local restaurants the hotel has discounts with without asking.
You select hotels based on reward points rather than cost / quality.
You have a pre-packed toiletries kit.
Your phone automatically logs into the wifi no matter what chain you are staying at.
When you're handed your key they don't even think to ask 'have you stayed with us before'
The reward point drug is a hard one to get off. If it wasn't for COVID I can't imagine my life right now!

Can you explain this one?
I don’t use a hairdryer or straighters. Those who do, such as my mum, say that the plug points and mirrors are hardly next to each other. The hotel supplied hairdryer isn’t much cop.

Though mum will be impressed with the hotel room im in as by a mirror has a plug point.

The tea/coffee point will always be midway between the nearest cold water tap and a mains outlet.

Whomever supplies the fancy sinks in posh hotels doesn’t talk to whomever supplies the kettles as there’s a 50/50 chance of you being able to fit the kettle under the tap and, even if you can, you won’t be able to get it anywhere near full.

Simple thing is to use the cup or glass beaker the room has to fill up from tap then transfer to kettle.

I stayed in a hotel where room had bottle opener on side of wardrobe, by desk. It was positioned too low for opening bottles. Was able to open a bottle by striking bottom of cap on edge of desk
