You only have 48 hours...

Finish watching Armageddon which I'm doin now funnily enough(with commentary). Then I'd catch the first train back to Bristol to be with the family and hopefully convince relatives from all over to come down and have a massive feast which would take all of us a whole day to prepare. Then eat it under the last of the moon/starlight. After pray with family etc.

I always wonder at the ones that say they'll go on looting sprees etc, guess it says a lot about they're character

I'd go with the hairdressers, tired TV producers, insurance salesmen, personnel officers, security guards, management consultants, telephone sanitizers and marketing executives to the B-Arc Spaceship ready to escape to another world ;)
But what shape would you re-invent the wheel as, and would you spot the caveman miscalculating the answer in time? ;)

I'd follow the signs to the SECRET NUCLEAR BUNKER in Ongar... along with everyone else in Essex :D
I wouldn't need the signs as I've already been there. I knew there'd be a good reason to go visit Kelvedon Hatch. :D

Anyway, it seems quite a few people didn't bother reading the OP - since the electricity went out, chances are your broadband would have gone with it, and your TV. Having said that, with my broadband router on a UPS that'll run for several hours with everything else turned off, and a laptop that'll do the same, I'd be sure to check if the internet still worked. :)

Also, it seems obvious but I guess no-one realised. Grab a battery-powered radio, shove some batteries in it (as recommended by a government leaflet of several years ago) and see if anyone is transmitting.

After that, if the impact zone were near enough, I'd probably head for it. :)

It's nice to know some of the members of OcUK are actually closet murderers and rapists, with only the thought of repercussions stopping them carrying out these acts during a normal week when the world isn't due to end.

Human nature. When/if **** hit the fan you'd be the only one not looting :p

No, they wouldn't. There are many people who are not savagely depraved animals held in check only by force of law, like a chav's dogs on a leash.

I'm saddened to see that quite a few posters here are just that, or at least claim to be.

Yawn how boring,

It's all a bit of fun anyway. Yes there is a bit of seriousness to it but please don't take everyones replies seriously. I'm sure most would act fairly different if it were to happen.

I hope :p

Probably try and get as deep as i can in the mine that isnt too far from me.

Or drive to Roxby as fast as i can and get even deeper:p

meh nuclear bunker 20 mins away at top speed, if thats somehow been locked by some random who beat me then it's off a cliff with a nice car a hijacked and drive off as fast as I can. Woop for fireball of death :D I am serious !

Get as many of my family and friends together, party and have a good time till it happened!

Syphs fiancée.

We'd have to decide on the colour first, maybe after a hot bath and a cup of tea we'll decide on the name. Scrabble will just have to wait :)
