** YOU PAY 17.5% VAT & FREE SHIPPING TO ALL THE UK INCLUDING SCOTTISH HIGHLANDS & NORTH/SOUTH IRELAN

VAT is charged at the normal rate, however we basically refund 2.5% on the whole order so essentially you are paying 17.5% in the UK. However, we will invoice the prices with the correct VAT details, and also the VAT number is on the bottom of the invoice too.

You basically have VAT reduced on your order as we discounted the products to cover the extra percentage.

I hope that makes any sense. :)

To make it clear to anyone you essentially discount the pre VAT price by 2.08333%.

The following have been rounded:

£83.33 + 20% VAT = £100

£83.33 - 2.08333% = £81.60 + 20% VAT = £97.92

The equivalent to:

£83.33 + 17.5% VAT = £97.92

Overall Saving = £2.08 for every £100 spent.

Now why couldnt you have had this offer last week when i ordered my 27" IIyama E2773HDS monitor.
Not only would i have saved money on the monitor but i would have had it delivered free as im subject to the Highlands and Islands Premium.

Just not fair.

Although just looking at my account i would actually be paying £1.72 more for my monitor this week. now that it is no longer on the this weeks offer.

Earlier this evening I ordered a system at 2k. Was checking my emails a short time later and an email from OCUK telling me of this promotion, that was sent to me earlier in the evening, was sitting in my spam folder! :(

wouldnt that example order have cost 270.24 if vat was charged at 17.5% ?

Guys I can't see the discount being applied through Paypal? (Got funds stuck in there)

Edit* Nm you have to full go through the entire checkout - Basket will not reflect the price until the very end!

Great, it may only be 2% off the actual price but free shipping to those without regular free shipping yet means it great. (Tempted by that 128GB M4 now!!)

No you don't. VAT is reduced by 12.5% but the total order price by 2.1%.

What you did was apply a 2.083% discount to all orders and allow for free shipping.

It's even explained in the fine print.
