Your Best Band Live Thread

Muse last night were amazing. First time I've seen them live. Wish I was in standing though, couldn't get the feel for it in seated! Apart from that, it was a great night - and I was impressed with Biffy Clyro.

I really should have gone to see Daft Punk in Hyde Park. They looked awesome, and it's another band which I'm a massive fan of that I need to tick off my list.

Best live acts that I've seen, Junior Senior, Muse, The Prodigy, Flaming Lips, Foo Fighters. The list goes on! I'm pretty lucky to have been to so many gigs over the last few years.

Not really a band, but Daft Punk are the best live performance I've seen lately.

I suppose if we're going down the DJ route then Eddie Halliwell and Matt Hardwick (we're blessed to have him as a resident) are both worth a shout as being some of the best I've seen.

DP dont dj doing there live show , its a live performance of there own tracks using ableton and controllers to launch and change the emulated hardwares sounds,

the pre 99 show was them doing it live with them actually playing sysnths and drum machines etc , very very impressive :D

as for djs , gotta be erol alkan every time

Bugger, I was going to check him out at Rock Ness but they shuffled the pack and I couldn't be arsed queuing.

Best DJ set I saw was Carl Cox at Homelands 2000 but I regarded him as something of a God at the time and he could have played Bob the Builder and I'd have lapped it up :o

Mine would have to be U2 live in Paris (Bercy Stadium) in 1989.Support act was none other than the legendary BB King :D
