I'm not including a ZX Spectrum +2, which was bought in 1986 as it's technically a PC.
I stopped buying consoles in 2007 when i switched to PC gaming. I sold the PS3/Xbox 360 and have never looked back since. I've been spoilt with PC gaming for a decade now, it's great.
In fact, i was more aware of this when i made an impulse purchase on a PS4 two years ago (bought into the hype being exposed by the gaming media). Played some exclusives, these so called world class games, i found them extremely underwhelming for all the noise the media and gamers created for them. Being hugely disappointed in Sony's offering, I sold the system 14 days later. I won't be making that mistake again.
I'm permanently done with consoles. I'd rather put the money towards my PC, clothes or a decent holiday. Also, there are huge benefits when concentrating on one platform.
