Your console history

Xbox 360 (now sold)
PS3 (still in use)
Xbox one (most used)

Not very many, the family had an old Atari thing than played the very basic pong with the white bats and dot as a ball :) It wasn't mine so didn't count it. I was a computer guy from the very start, Vic 20, commodore 64, Various versions of the Amiga etc.

I'm not including a ZX Spectrum +2, which was bought in 1986 as it's technically a PC.

I stopped buying consoles in 2007 when i switched to PC gaming. I sold the PS3/Xbox 360 and have never looked back since. I've been spoilt with PC gaming for a decade now, it's great.

In fact, i was more aware of this when i made an impulse purchase on a PS4 two years ago (bought into the hype being exposed by the gaming media). Played some exclusives, these so called world class games, i found them extremely underwhelming for all the noise the media and gamers created for them. Being hugely disappointed in Sony's offering, I sold the system 14 days later. I won't be making that mistake again.

I'm permanently done with consoles. I'd rather put the money towards my PC, clothes or a decent holiday. Also, there are huge benefits when concentrating on one platform.

As you can see, I've never been much of a console gamer, always been PCs right back to my ZX81 days.

Cannot remember the years, also not including the Commodore Amiga's because it's technically a PC.

Pretty sure it started with:

Megadrive, 2 controllers and a game for £10, years back (I lost it somewhere, was just a kid)
PS1
Xbox OG
Xbox 360
Xbox One/PS4 around the same time.

Never owned a PS2 as a teen or a PS3.

Ordered last night as soon as I received an email from Amazon. Not bad since I had a bottle and half red wine lol. It's a Christmas present to myself. Although keeping it until 25th December going to be hard but I done the same last year with the ps4 pro. Looking forward now.

I had (not sure on where exactly I had the N64 however):

Phillips G9000
Spectrum 128k+
SNES
Playstation (moved to custom case) (need a new wipeout, that game rocked)
N64
PS2
Xbox 360 (normal / elite / S), bought Kinect and had a fair bit of use at the start then sat unused for the rest of its life (as I guess most have)
Xbox One (probably had less than 50 hours use since purchase last year)

My Uncle is mad for gaming though and has had lots of stuff I am jealous of.

I'm a bit of a doughnut really as I've realised as the years have rolled on by I've played each iteration less and less. Hohum!

Excluded handhelds!

Wish I didn't give the ps2 slim away especially after having a pile of fat ps2's over the years. Still play most of them now, the DC is probably the coolest! Who doesn't love living room fishing?!?!
