i find it acceptable for small companies who genuinely may not have the capital to risk throwing at a niche game that may or may not succeed.
however it's abhorrent when you see aaa publishers pulling that kind of stunt.
Star citizen will never ever ever ever be released as a finished supported game, you'd have to be seriously deluded with hard on for Chris Roberts not to see it coming from a mile off.
The Witcher 3 is just a rubbish hack n' slash which belongs on consoles only.
I'm 99.9% sure that most fans of Anime 'girlie' games are closet paedophiles.

Some of the fan boys are outright embarrassing but they are too occupied with paying another £100 for the next ship they may be able to look at in the hanger in a few months. I originally kickstarted this with the £25 it cost to get the game, since I gave them my money they have constantly increased the scope without getting what I originally paid for out the door.
It's actually a 600 YO demon in the body of a 10 year old so it's fine..........

People who bought pubg harm gaming by making a steaming pile of unoptimized trash one of or maybe the biggest thing this last few years.
I am refusing to support cancerous trash like pubg and play older games at 240fps instead of trash at 40fps lol.

My gaming opinion eh,
Garry's mod i wish more games were like this to be frank loved the mini games and cinema etc on garry's mod.
Command and conquer red alert 2 yuris revenge, a classic i enjoyed back then and still do today.

i get 144fps constantly.in a 2017 game.its hardly unoptimized.
You will need to prove that, as unless you are running some serious hardwear, it’s just not possible..
I used to play allot of counter strike back in the day then took a break of a few years from gaming.
When I came back every online game you play is infested with eastern euros who are either cheating or toxic scum.
Things would be much more pleasant and enjoyable if the likes of Steam gave them their own separate network.

Wrong. They're not as good anymore, but back in the late 90s/early 00s the Japs had it down to a tee. Final Fantasy 7 is an absolute case in point.

I will not on a 1080 4770k for an example i can run overwatch 4k at near 200fps and keep textures and 16x AF maxed out!!! Oh the game also has a 144cap so your max might be 144+ but whats the mins Dg? My OW mins are 165 ish.

The Linux community is nothing but toxic, even enthusiast Linux YouTubers have abandoned the platform in favour of Windows due it's toxicity.
Also, this #NoTuxNoBucks nonsense you see from them regarding ports of Linux games to their platform is pathetic. The marketshare for Linux is microscopic (and that's being kind), they should be grateful they're getting any of the games in the first place.
Lastly, Windows is the dominant desktop OS, instead of belittling it and coming off as some hipster ******, they should start using it. Maybe then they'll come to the realisation of what they've been missing out on all this time.

1. oh, you've made a new game? cool, whats the story like? oh it doesn't have one, why? ahh, see when i hear "open world pvp" what i hear is "we couldn't be bothered writing a story so we just made it multiplayer, but then we couldnt even be bothered making multiple maps/game modes so we just made 1 big one and expect everyone to buy it because it worked for pubg"
2. open world survival games: ask yourself this; "is this game minecraft", if the answer is no THEN ADD A GODDAMN PLOT BECAUSE YOUR ****** BUILDING SYSTEM IS NOT GOING TO BE ENOUGH TO MAKE YOUR GAME INTERESTING, if you want to know how to do it right take a look at subnautica.
3. any new game ask yourself this; "is what i'm making a clone of the current big flavour of the month" if the answer is yes then please stop, just, stop.
4. if you're making a simulator game, ask yourself "is this as far as possible a true to life digital replication of the given subject", if the answer is no then referr to the answer to #3
5. if your making a dlc, ask yourself this "has my game been on sale for at least a year and received all bugfixing patches for user discovered problems?" if the answer is no then please proceed to #6
6. if your answer to #5 was yes, then ask yourself this "is my new dlc anything other than a low-priced customisation skin that adds only cosmetic value to the game", if the answer is yes again then please endeavour to terminate your existence using whatever means you find most agreeable.
