Your experience with OLED burn-in

Recently upgraded from a LG B7 OLED and towards the end you could clearly see the YouTube logo burned in the screen though did run it full brightness and never really took any precautions against it. Still managed to sell it for £250 after 6+ years of ownership so no complaints.

Now using a LG G3 and again not really worrying about it too much, im sure it will happen eventually but if I can get 5+ years out of it then its done its job.

Technology has definitely moved on since this B7 days so wouldn't expect the G3 to get any unless running sky sports news 24/7 etc.

I am hoping so and don't really use it for gaming and the only sports is the F1 a few times a month so imagine it will last a good amount of time. Biggest shock was how snappy these new TVs are, ended up selling my shield pro as it just felt slow in comparison.

2020 65CX - nothing visible. Will be due it's 4th regen cycle soon. Usually happens between Oct-Nov.

Will see what the tech is doing for the coming few years before upgrading.

I think I already posted in this thread a while ago, can't remember, either way here's an update:

LG CX 55" used 4-8 hours per day for mostly gaming and a few movies since August 2020, zero sign of burn in. Although one of the HDMI ports has developed an intermittent fault.
