I'm just curious really, feel free to answer the following and add any input about your experiences with your first car.

Ford
Mondeo Ghia X 2.0
£900

Love(d) it to bits. OK so it's just an old man's boring Mondeo but I couldn't fault it. And now, driving a Rover 200 has made me appreciate the Mondeo even more. The drive is so comfortable. Handling precise, gearbox precise and a good motorway cruiser aswel as innertown driving.

I miss it so much, it's why I am curretly looking for another.

Also, sub doesnt fit in the Rover so music is crap in the Rover.

Model: Ibiza 1.4 Sport
Price: £8950 (Just over £10K with finance)

Piece of crap, regret buying it. Very slow and ive had nothing but problems since day one, not something you expect from a new car.

Gonna be getting either a Civic Type R or Integra Type R next June though :o

Fiat

Taken on with no tax or test, and gotten back on the road for about £150. It was pretty rubbish in most respects, but it got me from a to b.

Make: Triumph
Model: Dolomite 1850HL (1978)
Price: 950GBP

So, insurance cost a bomb with it being a 1.9, rear-drive and having nonstandard alloys, but it was a great first little motor (well, besides my other cars, I've still got it!...just, as it's going for sale soon).

It never gave me any hassle, never failed to get me back and was great for commuting and having fun in. Drove it to Wales and back once and I think that was one of my most enjoyable motoring experiences, the looks, the comfort, blazing sun with the windows down, sitting at 80, waving to the other motorists and blatting along :)

I have to say, it's made such an impression on me that so far, I've had 3 in a row. :)

Make: Ford
Model: Capri 2.8i
Price: 1520 (cost a lot more to finish it though)

Kind of high insurance costs with it being my 1st car. Really enjoy driving it still after nearly a year and have no intention of selling it, planning on garaging it and only using it on sunny days in the summer soon and buying something else for general use.
