Kind of. The jump from my Hyundai Pony to my 306 was huge- looks, comfort, toys, security, handling etc. I could quite easily have got shot of the Pony to get myself an 'oh so much more street cred' Escort early on and had another change a year or 2 later but by keeping hold of it the change was massive.

I'm itching to get shot of my 306 but whilst its costing me nothing in terms of repairs I might as well keep hold of it. The net result being that my next car fund is growing (all be it slowly) and every 6 months I keep hold of it its another 6 months down the line in terms of cars that come into budget so the nicer newer models become more of a reality.

When I do finally change cars it should be a nice improvement :D

Technically had a BMW 525i SE and a Rover 214-16v before this car, but neither were used after i passed my test.

Insurance: Can't remember something ridiculous for something so rubbish though.

It was a tank, crashed it into the back of my mates Nova, and only had a slight dent. His Nova was stoved in nicely at the back. Luckily as they were both bangers neither of us were too bothered.

Yep. Well, it's a "normal" 182 with the Cup pack on it. She says she couldnt live without the air con!



Her boyfriend has a Scooby WR1. Makes my little Fiesta look like a proper bag of nails parked next to those 2 most of the time! :(
