Went through many incarnations but ended up with a xr3i body kit mk4 rst spoiler and wing mirrors, clover leaf (the best) alloys limo tint all round Orion grill 6x9s on a mdf shelf alpine stereo rst lowered shocks and springs

Had it for 4 years wish I kept it
 
A mustard yellow mini 850 from 1979, with 3 bald tyres and incredibly bad bodywork. I paid £300 fully comp in my first year's insurance. In fog, I forgot there was one last corner, and rammed it into a curb, the bonnet flew off, and I put a right angle dent in the wheel. A Vaux cavalier came around the corner and ran over the bottom, they didn't bother stopping *sigh* folded in in half. I bent my dads jack trying to put the spare wheel on before getting it home.

I actually took it out during my break from work when it happened lol.

Ended up me rebuilded the entire car, new subframes, and entirely new front end, new boot, new floor pans, white 10inch weller wheels with Dunlop sport tyres, and at the end.. three different engines lol.

My first car was a 1.4 Focus. Good enough wee car though was as dead as a door nail. Sold it about a year ago, and since then I bought another focus and now an Integra Type R
 
My first one when I ditched it as the wheel fell off :) Think it was actually on the road for 6 months and off road for nearly the same amount of time.

I bought a 2ltr Granada Ghia for £150 when I was 19 as a run about at uni. The car was in amazing condition and was an absolute steal! It never steered me wrong, unfortunately I steered it wrong into a curb and bust the axle so it stayed lonely in the halls car park until it was eventually towed and most likely crushed :( Great first car though. Took me 4 years to buy my next car...
 
10 year old mrk4 civic saloon 1.4 petrol. Paint had flaked off to the chassis on the left wing and roof. Still it took 2 more years off abuse.
 
Cant seem to find a picture of my first car, It was a 1989 black mk3 fiesta 1.1 lx, Must mention the lx as it had electric windows/sunroof :) I bought it in 1999 for £1000 it took me ages to save it up for. crashed it after 2 years :(

Me neither, but a few months ago I scanned in a lot of my old photos...

Although this was actually taken in 2001 and digital cameras did exist then - you just put a floppy disk in and saved to that. Ahh memories.
 
1996 Citroen Xantia VSX 1.9TD Estate, bought at 18, with 132k miles on it as first car, and sld 18 months later with north of 300k miles on it!! Was a big barge, that just took anything you through at it.
 
N reg, Seat Ibiza mk2 1.4 in black, Was given it by my dad so you can't complain. Engine decided enough was a enough a year later, Don't blame it tbh. Surprised I managed to keep my license in that first year, Much more cautious and calm now a days.
 
Nissan K11 Micra 2000 when I was 17 in 2005.
Still have it :-(.

I think people should say what year they bought their car in. For example in, 2002 a 1998 Mondeo 2.0 would have been a good first car, but in 2012 it would probably be a rusty nail with an unpainted new front bumper and tape holding the rear one together.
