There were a load of very basic games on a pre-Atari console I remember playing - pong, basic car/bike controlling games, etc.
Then the games that came with the Atari 2600 - tanks is the one I remember spending longest on.
Then came the Spectrum some years later. First game was probably Horace Goes Skiing.
First game on a proper PC platform was Ecstatica in the early 90s after I'd lost interest in gaming for many years. It kind of rekindled my old gaming interest but it wasn't until I got a PC of my own for college work and the guy I bought it from had left a copy of Half-Life on there (with a no-cd crack I assume now, though I had no idea about that at the time). That got me hooked back in. How much time and money since have been lost because that git left HL on the PC he sold me. I should thank him with a punch up the bracket!
