Your Funniest Helpdesk calls....

I've got a new funniest one, I litterally cracked up. Just couldn't stop laughing!!!

I logged into someone's PC earlier to install Nokia Phone Suite for someone and connect it to their bluetooth phone....

Then I saw this.... (PLEASE REMOVE IF IT IS SEEN AS OFFENSIVE RATHER THAN HILLARIOUS)

They were SO embarrased, they swore it was nothing to do with them lol "That was already there! There is nothing unsavoury going on here" LOL

:D

Busy day at work, few members of staff called in sick.

Customer walks up to me on the desk,
" Is anyone serving here today?"
"hi, yes, sorry we are very short staffed and will get to you asap"
" Its not my problem your short staffed i want to buy a camera "
"Actually, it is your problem sir, as you'll need to wait until someone is free"
customer walks out.

It really wasn't his problem. And to be honest if you had said that to me i would soon told you where to go

That reminds me of what I used to write on job tickets when it was user rather than hardware/software.

In BIG letters I used to write "NAFF"

It was great watching customers get all ***** about it. Then I explained it means "No Apparent Fault Found"

:)

my favourite one of those was 'computer user non technical'. heehee

I just started at a new company and one of the trouble tickets I had to deal with today was from the first line guys, who bless them are so funny, but totally devoid of sense sometimes:

"User is complaining of flickering on his screen. I have remoted onto the workstation but cannot see the issue. Refresh rate is set to 75hz, but I cannot set it higher please can you visit the user and resolve the issue."

The issue was the user had a tft which had a broken inverter.

Well it made me laugh anyway.

But surely no-one can be that stupid as to move the windows folder? Really?

Actually the more I think about it the more possible it seems for someone to be that stupid.

i have had several cases of women 'tidying up' their folders. one even included ALL files atarting with 'a' in one folder, all with 'b'- you get the picture.

she called me because the 'computer wont let me move some of my files'

god knows how long she had been at it...

Had one the otherday, user claimed that her PC just stopped working. after taking a quick look under the chassis their was bits of woodand led everywhere.

user obviously tried cleaning some of the dust with a pencil and found out their was a fan running
