By the same logic you could say the same for every game bar Baldur's Gate 3. Not sure what that tells us about the state of gaming, or how jaded people have become ...

Think it just goes to show how far the quality/creativity of modern games as fallen off.

I think it also shows that Early Access can be done correctly, all that time in early access for BG3 enabled them to really take their time and spend a lot of time and effort on the cutscenes and the voice acting and the overall presentation polish. Act 3 was somewhat more iffy at release but it has to be remembered that they moved forward the release date by 1 month out of worry from the impact of releasing a couple of days before Starfield (moving a date forward being in itself almost an unheard of thing to do) , in hindsight some people might say that they didnt need to be quite so feared of Starfield after all of course, but they werent to know that at the time they made the decision.
 
Baldurs gate 3 not got very far as playing coop with friend, who hasn't been on much.... :mad:

O definatlty BG3 and the studio/Devs used EA perfectly - its also the kinda development that needs EA. The main problem with EA is the Fear of Mission Out Generation and massive marketing departments are the kings of making content for the FOMO gen.
 
3 votes is getting a bit crowded - might have to consolidate it into 'Everything Else' soon...

as much as folk have slated it, I have really enjoyed Forza Motorsport. 100 hours in and still going strong, been great fun in both SP and MP.

to stick with the list above though and not pollute the chart any more, from that set I would probably say Resi 4 or Avatar

Don't worry about the chart! It's just for illustrative purposes and to show the overall % share of votes - if FM was your GOTY then go with that :)
