That's odd. Two members of my Div4 team in TF2 use 360 controllers, and I know a few CS:S pros who use them as well.

I've never been able to grasp them (on consoles anyway :p).

GZA, where did you find the source for confusing/contradictory info on the Goliathus? I have been looking at it, but I'm unsure of which I would need :p

Or is there an alternative mousemat I should be looking at?

I will never understand gamepad users but anyway....

Can't remember mate tbh - I was googling away and just read it on a couple of sites so it ruled it out for me as I can never be bothered to send stuff back etc....

The boogie bug (above) as mentioned is VERY popular and I was very close to buying one but the OcUK site doesn't seem to like my cards RBS secure gateway thing anymore so until that's sorted I doubt I will be buying stuff anytime soon :(

I went for the Puretrak Talent as I read REALLY good reviews on that.

Corepad Cloth XXL. I love it - you never run out of mouse mat, as I can't physically reach beyond it :D

OcUK doesn't stock it though - you should.

Surely that is just a boogie bug with a different brand name.

Edit: OMG it's actually bigger:

Boogie bug: Dimensions: 450mm x 900mm
COREPAD C1 XXXL: 523mm x 100mm

How short are your arms?!

Well, I can reach beyond it, but not comfortably (Don't forget I'm not sat in the middle of it, but to the left of it) - with exception of the bottom corner, which the mouse can't go past anyway due to the way I've 'managed' the cable :)

Depends on how large. If you looking huge then boogie bug is the right choice for size and price. If your looking for slightly smaller the HeatoN based on the famous CS player is very good and big enough for people who use lower DPI.
Just something a little bigger than the SX, BTW i've edited my post i meant to type G500 not G55... :/

Trying to do too much in one go as usual. :o

That BB mat looks great, quite like to look of that actually...

As old as i am I've been through the mouse pad phase & realised there are better surfaces to use & better things to spend my money on. 30 odd quid for a pad, Come on. :p
I personally have never found anything better than an Allsops Bubble.

I used to use no mouse pad, with just wooden table. It did me well for years until I started competition gaming at Lans. The wood tables had such huge grain it was terrible. Ever since then I have used a mouse mat and found it better :D

Back in the day all you needed was grease proof paper & a bit of tape. :D

Anyone heard of "World Sport Stacking Association"?

It's stupid as hell, but the mat supplied for the cup stacking is very large and makes an awesome mouse mat! :D
