I bought myself a 55" Samsung KS8000 (7000 to you guys) on sale 25% off the other day. Using it as PC monitor and for some XBox1 gaming... will get me self a PS4 pro at some stage for 'The Last of Us' and 'Uncharted 4'

It's the best TV i've ever owned!

Touch wood, but since halving the length of my HDMI by re-arranging my room, and changing to another cable I've not had any issues with flickering.

Got an 49" LG UH770V back in August, didn't actually intend to use it for gaming at the time, was primarily going to use it for Netflix and Sky Sports in 4K but I've just bought a Pro so am excited to give it a go with that too.

Looks like the KS7000 55" has dropped in price, even further than Black Friday's prices;

Was £950 on Black Friday, which was a good price all told. At £900 I'm very tempted, we're popping out to the shops for a mooch and will stop by Currys to see if they've got any stock...

Not holding much hope.

I got a Samsung KS7000 for Xmas. I love it. My previous TV was a W829 from Sony which I also enjoyed but this TV is a noticeable step up even running The Witcher 3 on my PS4 Pro. It's so vibrant, detailed and beautiful to look at.

I got the 43" KS7500 Curved Samsung for my room on xmas eve, all I can say is wow. Best tv purchase I've made to date. Makes my old Panasonic look completely washed out.

Edit. Couple of small details I love. Recording to hard drive straight from the TV guide. And the little Samsung magic remote thingy works wonders ( I know it's just another remote, but it's fantastic lol). Also. The picture settings you can get like dynamic.

My girlfriend bought me The Last Guardian for Christmas, I almost don't want to play it more until I get the bigger TV...

How does XV look on it? Have you got that Tauren?

AFAIK Fifa looks no different on 1080p vs 4K apart from upscaling. Other games do have ps4 pro updates for graphical improvements but fifa should be the same as before, unless your last tv had a much inferior panel.
