Looking to get either a higher VRAM variant of the 3070/3060 or possibly a 10GB 3080 (at the most)...
I shan't decide until things sort themselves out & both Nvidia/AMD have all their cards on the table, Ba Dum Tish, so likely next year.

Fairy short history for me

9800 GTX
Radeon 5870x2
GTX 970
GTX 970 SLI
2070 Super - (Bought used while I wait for 3080 pre-order)
Soon(ish)... 3080

Tseng Labs et4000/w32i
SIS530 (tried a Voodoo 3 but couldn't get it to play)
9200se
5500
6800 (even unlocked the extra pipelines)
7800 Ultra (died before its time)
Hd4870 (turned out the 8800gt wasn't compatible with my mobo)
480
680 (think I made the jump to 1440p here?)
780
780 SLI (huge mistake)
1070
1080 (upgraded after the price drop)
2070S (fine for UW 1440p but useless when I went 4k)
2080S
3080 (on order)

I think that's everything. Standouts for me were the 6800 (absolute beast of a card), the 4870 (incredible value for money) and the 1080. Oh and the Tseng Labs - some of my earliest gaming memories and was still going strong when I went to uni nearly 10 years later.

I am sure i'm missing a card somewhere
