…you could, in theory, temporarily change your iPhone’s MAC address to that of a device which gets free wifi at The Cloud hotspots but doesn’t require any special authentication.
Open up a terminal window and type: ifconfig en0 inet lladdr 00:00:00:00:00:00

Since they upgraded the tariff it's not a bad deal and I couldn't be bothered breaking it every time a new firmware came out.
