Just wondering what the majority of you guys that have an iPhone actually did with yours.

Did you unlock it and use it with a different network or did you go with O2's plans and get the wi-fi hotspots?

:P

Just saw this.. don't know if it's utter rubbish or not..

One Response to “o2 UK iPhone users and free wifi from The Cloud…”

…you could, in theory, temporarily change your iPhone’s MAC address to that of a device which gets free wifi at The Cloud hotspots but doesn’t require any special authentication.

Open up a terminal window and type: ifconfig en0 inet lladdr 00:00:00:00:00:00

This may, of course, be legally questionable :)

Unlocked and on O2 £35 contract, good package as far as im concerned

Was gunna drop my Vodafone contract in it but Vodafone couldnt even get close to what O2 are offering...

O2 contract.

Since they upgraded the tariff it's not a bad deal and I couldn't be bothered breaking it every time a new firmware came out.

TheCloud can be bought direct from TheCloud for £7/month anyway.

I'm on Orange, £45/m (900mins/400txt/250Mb Data). Yes, it's pretty rubbish, but I'm stuck.

Does anyone know if iPhone will work on 3? Im really tempted to just get the iPhone anyway on O2 and have two contracts.

EDIT - It doesnt work on 3 :( Just as i expected.
