I've always struggled in the mornings. It's ridiculous. Especially working at home.
7 - 7.20am - girlfriend's alarm goes off, I half wake up
7.35am - my alarm goes off (snooze it)
7.45am - my alarm goes off (snooze it)
7.55am - my alarm goes off (snooze it)
8.05am - my alarm goes off (snooze it)
8.15am - my alarm goes off
8.20am - drag my ass out of bed and go for a wee
8.25am - stumble downstairs, put together overnight oats and set a tea brewing
8.30am - do some basic stretching/yoga whilst tea brewing
8.35am - breakfast/tea whilst listening to radio
9am - girlfriend comes back down from shower etc. which is my cue to disappear (she's working in the lounge/kitchen)
9.05am - shower, dry, dress
9.25am - back downstairs to grab some juice/water
9.30am - toilet time, brush teeth, do hair
9.50am - sit down at desk
I honestly feel like time speeds up for me in the morning. I can literally drag myself out of bed at say 8.15am, but somehow by the time I've gone for a wee and stumbled downstairs it's approaching 8.30am. WTH?
I hate mornings, no idea how I'll get back into the rhythm to get myself into an office for 9.30am post-COVID...
