Your most disliked work colleague ever?

when my dad died in 2003, female team leader had the knackers to tell me to suck it up and get back to work when I called in...

Then had me fired when I threatened her with violence, something I'm not proud of...

Though I took great pleasure in keying that pretty new Merc of hers, hated the job anyway! :p

I used to work at a coffee shop at a service station and there was one woman who I absolutely destested. I get along with just about everyone but she was something else, always putting down other colleages for no reason or telling people they were useless. She would make up excuses so that she didn't have to so the jobs that she didn't like, forcing others to do them, and blamed others wen things went wrong.

I distinctly remember going to a pub one evening, her showing up and saying 'i know you've been drinking so if your not in tommorow you'll be in trouble'. She wasn't even my boss.

Fat stupid pig of a woman who I hope none of you ever encounter.

To be honest I'm struggling to think of any work colleagues that I've had more than just passing dealings with that I genuinely disliked. Maybe the supervisor in my old job, as she would lie a bit. Like, I'd tell her there was a potential problem with something holding it up. Then 1hr later she'd ask me why it wasn't done - usually in front of our manager who was actually a proper manager - I'd explain that I'd already warned her and she would say "No you never". That was about the extent of her vocabulary. Other people that worked for her found her to be untrustworthy too.

She was also a bit of a bunny boiler, sometimes we'd go for a drink after work on fridays and she got it into her head that this was a routine that should happen every week and act funny if I didn't join her. She was a flirt with lots of blokes but not in a sexy way, way too forward, all the obvious innuendo etc. I remember having to squeeze past her sometimes and she would kind of rub her arse into my crotch, in hindsight it was probably sexual harrassment but I was a bit naive at the time (early in first job) and just put up with it.

In the end she got sacked for shutting herself in the stationary stock room with one of the younger directors who she fancied and mooning him (it had a window so there were witnesses - yes, she really was that thick).

my old boss. was my first "management" position and he was the director above me, he belittled me, undermined me, bullied me and others, talked to me like I was 12 and generally behaved like a total appendage. it was a very depressing experience. i complained to HR just prior to finding out i'd got another job and I made it perfectly clear in my resignation letter and my exit interview and to anyone else who asked that he was the reason I was leaving. i even said it to him and his answer was "i thought it would motivate you". well it quite clearly didn't you ******.

in my current job I've had a few run ins with my colleague in another division, but that's because we're very different people rather than any dislike as such. she had a nasty habit of asking my opinion on something then regurgitating it as her own and sending me the most horrendously rude emails. but she's on maternity leave now so it's all good :D

I worked in a call centre with a guy who tried to act like a team leader and would boss people around even though he had no authority. He made comments to me about my performance that my TL had apparently told him (complete BS) and would shout down anyone who disagreed with him even when he could be proved wrong.

He drove me up the wall and I was really glad when our managers decided we shouldn't be on the same shifts any more.

I work with an absolute gem of a colleague. I have nothing against her personally other than the fact she's a workshy fop. All the women on our team despise her though, with a passion.

She's very much the "Been there, done that, got the T-shirt (and it's better than yours)" type person, who just loves to butt in to any conversation. I find it quite amusing myself, as I can see the other girls boiling with rage when she does this, so I tend to stir the pot as much as possible at any given opportunity :)

Anyway, she is rarely in work due to MANY,MANY,MANY different reasons. She only works part time Tues,Weds,Thurs but can't even hack that. I think she's managed maybe 10 weeks so far this year. The excuses she uses are the best bit. She is so full of ****e that it beggars belief.

Some recent classics for time off include...

"I fell out of the shower, slipped on the bathroom floor and fell down the stairs"

"I need to go home as I have a blood clot in my leg" (it cleared up the next day)

"I've just found out my dad isn't my dad, and my real dad lives in France so I need time off to see him"

"My Grandparent has died" (at least 5 times for each one now, and counting)

"A child in the next street has gone missing and the police need me to help in their search"

I could go on, there are many more. Lying bitch has a dreadful memory so how she gets away with some of them is beyond me. But annoying that she gets off work so much, but more fun winding the other girls up about it :D

Not my boss for a change, I supervise a small team in a kitchen (Not some kind of evil overlord, I basically do the same as everyone else, but take the flak when things go wrong) and theres a girl on my team who is so painfully dim I honestly don't know what to do with her. Trying to find jobs for her to do where she won't get in the way is becoming difficult.
The other day I sent her down to the local co-op for some vanilla coke, a triangluar bread loaf and some bacon sausages, she was gone for an hour and a half and came back with nothing :|. One of the girls I know from the co-op text me later on and said she came in with the list looking and they told her none of the items existed and she still looked round every single item anyway.
The other day I set her on a workspace grating some cheese (by hand, the machine was bust) and she managed to grate her hand :| for some unexplicable reason she was trying to grate the cheese both ways.
I remember someone once having a conversation (not involving her) who said "I heard you were talking about me the other day, my ears were burning" and she piped up and said "were you in pain"...
Probably not the best examples, but having to work with someone with no common sense is just so draining. When customers ask me whats wrong with her I usually just make up a random story about her having retardation.

I actually laughed at that, quality!

In my old job there was no one really who I had an issue with or vice versa (was in the NHS) and it was the first job I actually enjoyed going into work for lol.

Before that though I use to work for a certain orange shirted company selling tvs and computers etc for around 6 years and the only nice people there was 1 "new" sales manager and then the people who have worked there a long time. Due to the stores location and sales history, it was a magnet to complete and utter ********'s. Went back to work for them at christmas to meet one of the most offensive sales managers I've ever met and half the sales staff basically ignored all temps because they viewed us all as ****. (even though the systems are the same still, so is the sales technique and I wasn't exactly bad at my job lol)

I know for a fact, in my future job (aka my career goal) I'll meet a lot of work shy people who think their titles means they don't have to "muck in" with the simpler stuff when it gets busy so I'll see lol.

This post is useless without pics of the 'dim' girl :D;)

I don't dislike any of my colleagues, there's some who I don't get on with as good as others and one or two who have annoying habits but that's about it

lately one guy has been eating a sarnie in the canteen before starting, another colleague gets in and asks "having something to eat? it's all good!"

of course he's having something to ******* eat

not only that but he asks the same thing every day, it's like groundhog day

When I was in the Army I used to have a really nasty Sergeant that used to call me names and belittle me in front of others. He used to swear at me and make me do duty in the rain and do lots of fitness, even when I didn't feel like it. Oh, hang on, that was me :)

My current boss. He's constantly ranting and raving, shouting at and belittling people in front of others. He seems to be of this mindset that you can't be civil to other people, and that you get the best out of them by constantly slapping them down. I made a relatively minor mistake yesterday, just to have him scream "You ****ing Clown!" at me in front of everyone else. When I go to work I'm constantly on edge, I've only been there since June, and I utterly detest it. I've learned since I've started that my predecessor left the company by chucking a sick note in for stress for four weeks after she'd been in the job just under 6 months, and never coming back. Knowing what I know now, I entirely sympathise with her and just wish I'd known this before I accepted their offer, as I would have turned it down knowing that.

Oh, and just for good measure, this ****** decided before I started that he'd load a few more responsibilities onto the position I now fill, it's like he's trying to make the job an untenable poisoned chalice for anyone who makes the mistake of taking it. :(

Also one of them guys that has to get one better on your story even if he wasnt originally in the conversation - someone says I got a new 40 inch tv, he will come out with mines is a 50inch

"If I said I had a giraffe, you'd have a bloomin cage you keep it in" :D
