Your next car?

just got a zaffy 1.9 cdti (150) within the past month so no thoughts of getting something else for at least a couple of years.

Realisticly when I have enough money to run a car and bike as well as living how I want to live and doing all the track days under the sun (probably next promotion but may be a year or so off), I would like to say Mx5 and a turbo kit/suspension mods etc... but will probably be an ST220 or 325/330 knowing that the bike will be the toy.

Well, it's hard to say with changing circumstances and all. But assuming my next car is about 3 years away, as I've just had the one I have now, I'm going to be looking at something like the current model Audi RS4 or maybe one of the very last E39 M5's (getting on a bit by then though of course) ...perhaps an E46 M3 maybe, an E92 M3 sounds like a match made in heaven but I'm not sure what the used prices will be like in 3 years to be honest, I can but hope though. All in all, I'm not honestly sure yet but it'll be something like the above no doubt.

You'd be half way saved up already had you not gone on a quest to finance the worlds most expensive E46 3 Series still left on a used car forecourt :p

Yea, don't remind me :p ....right now I have insurance and running cost issues with the old M5 though. In 3 years time I will be nearly 26 so those problems should have vanished.

Not a fan of leather seats and the added extras dont justify the extra £1000.

You dont get much apart from the seats, but they are worth the extra, the ST2 has those garishly coloured chav wannabe seats imo, truly truly horrible.

The leather seats are recaro so hug my fat ass really well :D

I love these threads, they always end up full of dreamers putting down cars that they'll never realistically own.

a Volvo S60 or S80 auto. Prefer the 60 but the 80 is better vfm

Or if they give me a company car, a pug 407 hdi

Not quite my next car but an additional car is going to be a cheap banger for me to tinker with, old polo or fiesta... if i can afford it i may stretch to a mini (but they are getting quite expesnive now even a bad one) or a midget or a spitfire... but i think my budget wont stretch that far.... :(

I will have a 911. Oh as god is my witness I will :D

As your next car?

I only ask because you were mulling over a Civic Type R about 6 months ago and asking about running costs.

And don't you presently own a troublesome French shed?
