Your next car?

Ideally an Escort RS Cosworth, but other than that, i dont know. I suppose a Lancer Evo VII is possible. I may get something to tide me over until then as well, like a cheap merc.

I have no idea to be honest.

Current car will last me for a good while, once its paid for I'll look to get something else, but quite what I dont know.

Depends whats on the market in 4 years when the bank loan is finally finished.

It will probably be another large capacity and reasonably quick saloon I would imagine. Certainly for the "main" family car. This new Holden Commodore SSV thats hitting the UK shores next year floats my boat. :)

Once I decide whether the bike is going or not, there will most probably be a "fun" car purchase, but I might hang off and get something a bit more expensive in a few years rather than rush out and buy something as soon as the bike is sold. A good nick @2000MY Beemer M5 would fit the bill.

Also, as I have said before, something like a big yank Corvette or Camaro still interests me for a weekend car to enjoy.

I just dunno. :)

I'll be buying something fast and impractical next summer. Hopefully an S1 Elise if I can stomach the insurance. if not a 7 as they're cheaper and more insurable. otherwise some dull hot hatch.

Something from the VW/Audi stable, possibly a golf or A3, almost certainly diesel.

That will be my work/daily drive and for the weekends i am about to start building a Defender 90 Challenge truck, which will be

Looking at a few options really, starting to save up.. not sure if I want a Mini or something like a focus or a newish Mondy when I turn 21..

I love these threads, they always end up full of dreamers putting down cars that they'll never realistically own.

True, but there will be a few rareitys where the poster will make other people eat their own words eventually.

Id like a williams :)

but then i'd only really want to use it as a second car. Dont want to use my valver as a commuter either really.. so i need 2 new cars :(

or... an F7R conversion :D

Doesn't happen very often, though. Everyone is always getting a supercar/rare import/exotic thing next. Nobody ever fancies the Focus Diesel they inevitably end up with :D

I am seriously thinking of an Alfa 166 3.0 V6 Sportronic.

These are seriously cheap at the moment. You can get a 4-5 year old, fully loaded example for under 3K

I have read countless reviews and they seem to be quite highly rated by their owners. No apparent horror stories.

Still with the mileage I do it would cost me an arm and a leg to run.

Hi there

Well I am sticking with the Mustang for the next 12-18 months, just looking forward to some warmer/dryer weather so I can put the power down.

Hence why my next car will have to be either 4WD/AWD or have a very good TC/DSC/ASC system or whatever they are called.

At the moment favourite is a 2001-2003 Porka 911 (996) Turbo as since the 997 came out they have plummeted in price. Can pick up a low mileage Turbo now for around 45k, give it another 12 months and things will improve, might even find an 03/04 X50 model for sub 50k. :)

Fact is I aint dreaming as if I wanted I could sell the Mustang now as I have enough money saved go buy the 911, but I aint bored of the Mustang yet. :)

My other preferable option is a Gallardo but they are not depreciating that quick at the moment, fingers crossed they start dropping, but if not then one will have to wait as I refuse to spend more than 50k on a car. Or maybe I just keep the Mustang, BMW and get a house. :D

Integra DC5 or Audi S3, not for 2/3yrs though.

I know it won't be a new CTR, picked up a brochure today while having some warranty work done. Don't like it at all.
