Just started out with photography this year while in Boston, got extremely lucky with this one the kid just ran in front of me while trying to take shots of the city from Spectacle Island in the harbor. Don't have a whole lot to choose from but this one really stands out to me. Haven't posted much here but I like the stuff in this thread so I thought I would share.

Brilliant shots! Hoping to get a propper camera this week with some crimbo money. I only have my HTC desire HD camera at the moment which produced this. Just looking at a point to shoot camera of up to £100

Only got my camera 3 months or so ago so am still learning but I particularly liked this one (mainly because it made a good wallpaper

Haven't been anywhere this year and only got my 500D this year as well but this is probably my personal favourite:

There was also another one of a kitten licking it's nose which I really like as well, but the draw back from that one for me was that you can see down it's ear too much and the ear is quite prominent.

Hmm one is hard. I quite like this one as it works well as a large print - but I'm not sure that its lost something here on the screen.

I've just started photography and have some way to go. It's also pretty hard to focus on the eye of a bird when a safari driver won't turn the engine off but this was a memorable view for me.
