Your premiership team of the year

Last season i thourght Heinze should have been in the team of the year, but how can you put him in a team of the YEAR without playing  As for Brown he may well have been Man Utd's best defender but 1 of the 2 top defenders in the league this year?

It's just my opinion :p I think someone like Brown would compliment Terry in MY Premiership team of the season. ;)

GK- Cech

RB- Neville, he really is better than anybody else in the league at RB.
CB- Terry- By Default see below
CB- Ferdinand- By Default they are the two best CB's in the league no question.
LB- Gallas- Got to agree with most others, he is thick as two short planks, but he has been the best LB this Year.

RW Lennon.
CM Lampard.
CM Gerrard.
LW Pederson.

CF Rooney- Quite simply, nobody else in the league is as exciting, or offers so much as Wayne, goals, stength, pace, balance, vision, aggresion, he has it all but what he doesnt have is outright skill, however it doesnt matter Rooney plays how the game should be played.

CF-Darren Bent, and ill tell you why, in a poor team he has been superb i would put Henry in there, but scoring a ton past minnows at home while pretending you arnt really there on your travels doesnt get you in MY prem team of the season.

FACTS:

SIX of Henrys 27 goals have been away from home.
Henry has scored in 16 games this season.

Darren Bent in his first season of the Premiership has:
Scored in 15 Games this season.
Scored 5 goals away from home.

I cant put Henry in there, he hasnt performed agaisnt Chelsea, agaisnt Man U or away from home.

Henry - Best Premiership Player ever arguable the master has set the league alight once again and really is the real deal and is second in the world to only Ronnie and hes very close behind him at that!

Rubbish. I'd take a fully interested Henry over Ronaldinho every single day of the week.

Park----Smith----Gerrard----Ronaldo
------------Rooney--Henry------------

Cech - not hard to be the best keeper in the premiership with the most expensive back 4 in front of you but still, awesome keeper, wish he was a red.

Gary Neville, what am I thinking puttin him in the team, one of the worst united players I ever saw play until they gave him that arm band, dont know what happened to him but he has had an awesome season, not a great captain but easily the best RB in the Premiership.

Terry, cant stand him, should have signed for united but Chelsea bought him a kit when he was 10 or whatever, good defender, slightly over rated I think but still the best.

Rio, not his best season but still keeps a cool head when necessary, put him in over Carragher because hes simply better, Carragher has got the second best keeper in the Prem behind him, put them both in front of the same keeper and I dont think they'd be much different. Very over rated Carragher, good, but not that good.

Chimbonda, just an awesome season, whether or not it will continue is a different matter but definitely worthy of praise.

Park, had an absolutely awesome season, always dedicated, chased the ball down every time, maybe missed a few goals he should have taken but aside from that an awesome buy.

Smith, just a god, simply put, that game against Chelsea alone deserves a place in the team of the season, if the scousers hadnt broken his leg I'm sure he would have got even better in that role.

Gerrard, awesome again, Fergie should break the bank and sign him.

Ronaldo, unpredictable and greedy at times, but sure can play when he wants to.

Rooney, Henry. Why even bother pretending they're not the best 2 strikers in the league?

You have carragher all wrong; Reina is overrated, plain and simple because he has such a good defence in front of him; the hyypia and carragher partnership is simply great and Reina hasnt had much to do all season cos of them.

Reina saved the penalties yest very well but otherwise his defence has kept him twiddling his thumbs a lot this season.

Are you feeling ok about alan smith; i feel sorry for him but he broke his own ankle, no liverpool player did. And he isnt a midfielder.

Not half bias towards Man U are you? Park & Ronaldo your having a larf :D

I would agree fully with this:

GK - Jens Lehmann - Unfortunately. The best all season, though, credit where credit is due.
RB - Pascal Chimbonda - Been solid all season, shame he's asked for a transfer already.
CB - John Terry - Solid as a rock all season yet again. He'd be my England captain.
CB - Jamie Carragher - Almost as solid as Terry and always getting his foot in.
LB - Matthew Taylor - Been a poor year for left backs, but Taylor has been one of Portsmouths best players all season. Takes a good pen too.
RW - Aaron Lennon - Fast, skilful and in the England squad. Just needs to score more goals.
CM - Steven Gerrard - Up and down, up and down.
CM - Frank Lampard - Midfield goal machine.
LW - Joe Cole - Skilful, tricky and now with an end product.
CF - Wayne Rooney - Just everything, except indestructible feet.
CF - Thierry Henry - One of the classiest players ever, I really hope he is still in the PL next season. Secret Man U deal on the cards? I think so!

Sub GK - Given - Shame about that defensive pairing of Bramble and Boumsong.
Sub CB - Kolo Toure - Done well without Sol and been important for Arsenal.
Sub CM - Cesc Fabregas - Got better and better as the season has gone on. Great player.
Sub CM - Xabi Alonso - Been excellent all season, great range of passing and good vision.
Sub CF - Darren Bent - Top English goal scorer and done well for Charlton this season. Faded towards the end and unlucky not to get a place in the England squad.

This has been his worst season in recent memory.

For me it has to be:

GK - Shay Given - Been outstanding and a rock due to a leaky defence.
RB - Pascal Chimbonda - Solid all season and loves to attack.
CB - John Terry - A rock, a leader, should be England captain.
CB - Jamie Carragher - Mr dependable who would die for Liverpool & England.
LB - Matthew Taylor - Should be given a chance with England, he is much better than Bridges.
RW - Yossi Benayoun - Skilfull, can change a game and works hard.
CM - Steven Gerrard - Best midfielder in the country.
CM - Frank Lampard - 2nd Best midfielder in the country.
LW - Joe Cole - Can be one of the countrys best players.
CF - Wayne Rooney - Amazing player who just gets better.
CF - Thierry Henry - 2nd best player in the world. Hope Arsenal keep him as he will be a lost to the Premiership.

Sub GK - Robinson - England keeper as been top class.
Sub CB - Kolo Toure - Been a solid for Arsenal unlike others.
Sub CM - Reo-Coker - Young, consistant and club captain.
Sub CM - Xabi Alonso - Fantastic passer, needs to score a few more.
Sub CF - Yakubu - Power, Pace and on his day frightens defences.

Cech - not hard to be the best keeper in the premiership with the most expensive back 4 in front of you but still, awesome keeper, wish he was a red

Think you'll find Shay Given is the best keeper in the Premiership currently.
