.............sorry but I'm immature.

CD player: £30 (Half price old MP3 cd player) or my £70 mp3 player
Sometimes carry my Lacoste: £30
Rucksack: £30
Cash: £10-20
Bus Pass: £70/term (Shoddy, fairly dodgy local bus company that only does one route ;)) - no Photo on it, so anyone can use it.
Samsung P730 + Mem card: ~£100
Sometimes my cheap Digicam: £50
Shoes: £50 / Shorts: £30 / T-shirt: £20 / Jumper: £20

So it varies from around £360 up to £490

I Just checked my wallet and have got over £300 in it, which isn't a-typical for me really.. I'd be more cheesed off with having to sort out replacing the cards/liscence/memberships that i've got in it than losing the money TBH.

Phone is a pay-as-you-go Sagem - £40
Cloths: £120 Shoes, £15 Trousers, £35 top.

So about £500 monetary value, lots more in agro value replacing/cancelling stuff.

Here is a link to the article if anyone wants to read it.

Factoring in glasses and watches, I can see how it could get up to £851 actually, especially those with luxurious taste, they'd bring the average up.

I went to meet some friends in London the other day with...

Phone - £150
MP3 player - £200
Camera + accessories - £200
Watch - £50?
Cash - £50?
Bag - £20?

So about £670 total if someone decided they wanted to clear me out. In fairness I don't usually carry a camera around with me, though.

I can easily see how someone would get up to £851, especially if they had flashier gadgets or an expensive watch. Don't forget that there are a few people walking around with £20,000+ watches, which pushes up the average, and many people will carry a laptop (e.g. to work) which could be worth £2,000 on its own.
