Your top 10 films of all time?

Um hard one, especially how you quantify it. Films I watch over and over again. I generally only rate a 7/10, films that are outstanding genuinley are more like a story and as such not as good for watching over and over again.
Anyway in no order

Lock stock and two smoking barrels

Die Hard

Inception came close to nudging out BTTF but then I watched all 3 again and realised how silly I was for even considering it.

If I was forced into making a list of seven others then these would be included but in no order at all.

The Goonies
Lost in Translation
Rambo (all 4 of them)

I love watching The Goonies every year around Christmas time when it's on TV, sit back with a beer and a wee bit of chocolate and enjoy

9. Gone In 60 Seconds (The 1974 original).

That's interesting, it's one of the few remakes where I definitely prefer it to the original. Although the original has one of the longest car chases ever I just didn't find it all that enthralling, as if they'd expended all their effort on the chase but little on the story.

Now, Transformers wouldn't really make it other than the fact that I grew up watching it as a kid and so if I ever did only have 10 films to watch I'd have to put that in there. I realise it's just a 90 minute hair metal music video featuring Transformers but whatever.

Also, Eden Log and Predator were hovering around my top 10, as were Sunshine, Inception, Cloverfield, Serenity and No Country for Old Men and there are probably another 10 I like pretty much as much as the ones I listed!
In other words, the top 10 really isn't much of a top 10...lol


All i know is, The Good The Bad The Weird is my absolute favorite film. The rest are all even.
