Your top 5 apps?

Cyberduck - FTP - Because.

Textmate - Text editor? - Best out there tbh. :o

Photoshop - <_0 - Web design, sigs, random tosh and occasionally photo editing, I use it because it's what I know how to use and it's good at doing what it does.

iTunes. No explanation needed? :p

Firefox - I like the level of customisation you can do to it along with the huge list of extensions.

That list was in no particular order. :p

Firefox - Gotta love them thar extensions

Adium - So I can lol at my bff

Gimp.app - I know it better than Photoshop, I don't feel like paying a boatload for Photpshop, and I like to use the same programs on Windows, Mac, and Linux

Cyberduck - self-explanatory

InCrease - Manage my Mac Folding@Homne clients and monitor clients from all OSes.

Special bonus!: iTerm, it's a terminal for OS X written in Cocoa. It supports tabs and a lot of other useful stuff that I like. I wish it was more customizable though.

My most used are:

Mail
Safari
iTunes
Photoshop
NeoOffice

I'd say my top 5 favourite apps are;

Adobe Creative Suite 3: Design Premium (I use them for content creation and digital management for my photos)
Panic Transmit (Uploading to my personal webspace and sending to .Mac)
Apple iTunes (Sorting my music library, syncing with iPod)
Transmission (Downloading Torrents)
Neo Office (Doing word processing mainly.. and it's free)

..only because I can't really say I enjoy looking at emails or chatting on MSN :p

For me:

Photoshop CS3 - Does everything and more, I use it mostly for digital photography,
Aperture - As above.
iTunes - Music, organisation etc..,
Safari - Fast, better than Firefox imo,
NeoOffice - Better than Microsoft Office, fast and not bulky.

Most Used:

Firefox
Mail
QuickSilver
iTunes
Photoshop
iWork

I think my favourite apps atm are

Quicksilver - Makes it a lot easier to launch apps etc
Adobe Creative Suite - I mainly use Photoshop & Dreamweaver for webdesign
iWork - Seems very easy to use, runs fast & has some cool features
Firefox - Mainly for extensions like webdeveloper, I was using safari but was unable to write on my blog as icons were missing
iTunes - Organising & playing my music

Top five would be:

Transmit - Use it for FTP all the time. One of the only programs I've ever bought.
Adobe CS3 Design Package - I use this for work so its always open when my Mac is on. Not many faults with it.
Mail - Simple and does the job perfectly. Leopard update was nice as well.
Textmate - Got this after a recommendation from WotDa. Used to use BBedit but this is far better and a lot lightweight, which I love.
Safari - Lightning quick. Used Firefox (too slow) before then Camino before Leopard upgrade. Tried Safari when I got leopard and its is SOOO quick.

Top five would be...
So of the five there three are not free for you, and yet you only point out one as having been purchased. ;)

I see what you did there. :p

Speaking of Textmate, does anybody know of any good free (prefer as in freedom, will accept as in beer) GUI text editors? I tend to use vi or pico but having a GUI tool is frequently handy.
