Your work/travel hours?

Depends what site im at and what shift. If im on my home siter its 5 min drive there and back plus 8 hour shift. If im at other site its 45min there 8 hour shift, 45 min back again.

8:30 to 4:30 work times.

Currently leave my doorstep 7:00/7:15 depending on whether I want to get in early or not. Back at my doorstep 5:35 give our take 5ish minutes.

Hopefully next year when I move into my new place doorstep to doorstep: 7:30 - 5:20. Yay!

According to google maps, I live 2.4 miles away from the office and fortunately going in the opposite direction of the local business park. It's a breeze!
Travel time, roughly 4-8 minutes depending on traffic.

As for hours, I may work 50 hours one week, and have done upto 100 on occasion!

Leave at 9.30am, home at 7:30pm normally.

Not work related but on Thurs I leave at 6.30am for college and don't get home til around 11pm or later.

I leave the house at 8:30 and get back in the house at 5:45, bearing in mind I drop off my partner at work and collect her from work too.

My dad has an interesting anecdote regarding his commute, as he is a self-employed haulage contractor and his van is parked outside the house, his commute to "work" is about 40ft and about ten seconds.

Leave at 6:45AM, get back about 5:15PM, so 11 hours.

1 hour 15 - 1 hour 30 commute each way (Liverpool -> Manchester and back)

Good man. As it should be!

I do not miss travelling around the world for work if I'm honest. Those were long weeks (not days!).

I agree with that. I did it for two years and got sick of it.

Now I work from home. In my vest. I'll probably be sick of this in two years and want to go back to a normal 9-5 environment :)
