Your work uniform

I'm pretty much allowed to wear whatever I want, as long as I'm decent. The girls on the other hand must wear the clothing my store sells

Here is my uniform, with either trousers and shirt with lapels or jeans and a T shirt, depending.

Its stab and balistics.

How old are those cuffs? dont you have the ones with the plastic bit?

And i assume thats covert armour?

Cuffs... hmm not sure someone had them before me. We only have a set amount of sets, as with the radios (although we are getting new ones).

The cuffs we use are the ones the police used before the restraining cuffs.

Plastic bit?

I have a key that opens them that I keep on a chain round my neck, and that goes on my belt.

At the present time we wear;

Short sleeved white shirt with left breast pocket and company emblem on left sleeve.

Dark trousers, preferably black with black shoes/boots that have some sort of protection on them.

For the future? We dont know. We are having a image overhaul at some silly cost to all us employees. I think it will be a yellowish/lime green affair.

I dont know what you do, but assuming you work for a police related organisation are you getting Airwave terminals? If so they are great

Turquoise (Aqua) with navy blue pants and black shoes with Navy blue fleece, god I look sexy

I'm actually currently in the process of being transfered over to SOCA.

Its in the pipeline apparently the radios that is. Apparently instead of having to change all the encryption codes if we lose one, the 'lost' handset can be locked out. Or thats how it was explained to me.

Yeah they are basically a mobile phone (you can text on them too). the downside is they get lost!

What dept are you in at the min then? Something good if youve got covert armour!

We just wear our normal armour under a hoody or something when in plain clothes. Couple that with an earpiece and suspicious looking bulges in pockets im suprised we arnt spotted a mile off!
