Your worst game this year

for me it's been LA Noire that was ok but got boring very quick. only 50% way through and its been stuck on my shelf ever since.

on the 360 its the halo game with the flash box set. evolution i think. just not as good os other FPS's.

couldnt stop laughing today new shop opened in my local shopping centre went in for a wonder and seen loads a 360 games and took a look (cash convertors) saw this (test drive 2) and (black ops) £4.99 each took them up to counter and said thats all £9.98 sir thx walk into my local asda within 5 mins and traded them in for £27.50

RESULT

GOT black ops £15.00
test 2 £12.50

homefront is the worst game ive ever played
 
LA Noire was a real disappointment in the end. I’ve been really selective this year and tried to be careful with my game purchases.

F1 2011 on the PS3 was another game that really did disappointment me

In order of purchase, I think lol all for the PS3 unless noted otherwise –

Mass Effect 2
Portal 2 (PS3 and PC came free both excellent)
LA Noire
Killzone 3
F1 2011
RAGE (PC then got the PS3 version cheaply enough)
Battlefield 3
Batman Arkham City (PS3 and PC, PC version was poorly optimised for DX11)
Skyrim (PC version for the modding)
Uncharted 3 (Christmas present from girlfriend so haven’t played it yet)

Regarding single player –

Mass Effect 2 – excellent from start to finish
Portal 2 – the best puzzle game I’ve played ever..!!
LA Noire – it stated out so well, I got bored of it and never completed it
Killzone 3 – played it with a move controller and enjoyed it
F1 2011 – awful performance, graphics took a step back so didn’t enjoy it as much as F1 2010
RAGE – PC version was a struggle to get up and running, PS3 version was fantastic
Battlefield 3 – weak single player
Batman Arkham City – every bit as good as the first batman outing
Skyrim – still churning my way through it, big game
Uncharted 3 – not played it yet
 
Sonic Generations, purely for the fact that each zone is only 2 levels long

And whats with the "keys" to do bosses?!
 
Gears Of War 3

I was just incredibly dissapointed in it. I think in hindsight i expected to much from it.

I've came to the conclusion that the Gears of War trilogy is the gaming equivalent of the Michael Bay Transformers films. All style with little substance while trying to be 'hip' but failing miserably.

Assasins Creed Revelations

I think this game proved that Ubisoft have started to do to much to fast. It was one game to much imo. While it was a good game it lacked the special something that the previous two installments had.

I've really gone off buying games at launch this year. I just can't seem to justify the £40 price for most stuff anymore.
