Your worst game this year

Hard to say, I generally like all games in a way.

Maybe L.A Noir as it was more limited than I thought, like you don't really have to add up things to solve cases. Sometimes I've sat there thinking what the hell to do and then all of a sudden Cole solves it because I hover over some evidence. Thanks for ruining the challenge Phelps :(

But I'm playing it in waves so that I can enjoy it for what it is and not rush through. More like a movie type thing. Heavy Rain was so good for actually keeping a story exciting and for keeping you guessing. If L.A Noir would have been that with real challenges then I would have loved it, even without the "action" pieces.

Worst Game is a toss up between Rage and Test Drive Unlimited 2. Just couldn't get into Rage, seemed a lot like, drive somewhere, shoot something, turn in a quest, drive somewhere else, shoot something, turn in. Wasn't as fun as Borderlands and didn't even think the graphics were all that amazing.

Test Drive was annoying because it was so buggy. You'd drive stretches of road that the map wouldn't accept you'd driven on, so the sat nav would get confused. Just got a bit samey too.

Let downs included Duke Nukem Forever and (controversially maybe) Forza 4. Duke was funny but a bit old fashioned. I was sorta glad when it was all over to be honest. Forza 4 didn't grip me at all. The career mode didn't really make any sense to me, just didn't get on with it compared to the previous Forza's that I spent a lot of time on.

I've already posted that Killzone 3 was my most disappointing game of this year and up until that point it was, but then Modern Warfare 3 was released. If they kept it similar to Black Ops it could have been fantastic, I enjoyed the single player and the Spec Ops mode for what it's worth but the multiplayer is absolutely atrocious in my book. Lag, spawning issues still, the maps are all shoebox size with a hundred different ways to get into each area, you can really tell that Raven had a part in the multiplayer seeing as the majority of projects that they've been involved in are utter ****.

To paraphrase somebody they were given the recipe for a perfect Shepherd's Pie, and they made it with dog meat. Buffoons.

I was massively disappointed with Forza 4, I just thought it was dull and tedious and not enough had been put into it to differentiate it from F3/GT5.

Also there was something about the visuals, which although were technically great, irritated me.

Possibly Skyrim for me. I've been playing it for about 15 hours & am really struggling to get excited, or drawn into the story. :(

Must admit this year has been a meh year for games, nearly every big game turned out to be average, hoping BF3 is going to be epic, starting to get into it now.

LA Noire for me.
I tried to like it, but after the 1st 2 hours, the "wow" factor wore off and I couldn't bring myself to complete it, it simply bored me.

I hate to mention it, but Saints Row 3 was a bit of a dissapointment for me, it's not a bad game, but it feels more like Saints Row 2.5. Guess I just had my hopes set too high.

BF3 has got boring now too...

Kind of with you there, it's not a bad game but so far it seems far more annoying and less enjoyable than BC2. The maps lack character and they've over-complicated things far too much. Not to mention that the PS3 version continues to be broken in various areas.

It's wholly obvious that they rushed it to get it on the market before MW3. Developers and publishers need to stop this attitude of fixing a game after it's on the market.
