Apple look after you. You ring apple support, ignore the indian and insist it's a hardware fault they then log a call and take all your details down. Soon after a nice lady from a London number will contact you and arrange a pickup date, they can bring a box to put it in if required. You'll get a call within 24hrs saying what's wrong with it, and what needs doing and if it's ok to go ahead. Then after that within a week you'll get a phone call arranging a date for it to be delivered back.
