Temps are so cold up there it must be a real test for the batteries and electronics. The camera, the GPS system and transmitter to find where it is, and the parachute to land the camera without too much of an impact. That is a £600 video camera!

The sun would actually be quite hot at that altitude, on the fall down he was falling at the speed of sound and so air friction would keep him warm.
