but those bodyweight movements don't require that much strength.

Are you joking? You have to be seriously strong to perform the human flag, as well as the movment where she does a sort of 'worm' half way up the pole which requires immense core strength.
 
No I'm not joking, are you :confused:

Maybe your bar for what you consider to be strong is lower than mine. Also, the human flag is easier if you're lighter.

I wasn't saying she wasn't strong, rather that her strength to bodyweight/size ratio wasn't spectacular.
 
It's not easier if you're lighter. It's entirely proportionate strength:weight. I think you're completely underestimating just how hard some of that stuff is to do.
 
Erm, of course it's easier if you're lighter, especially if your legs aren't very heavy. I'm not underestimating at all, I didn't say it wasn't impressive, but comparing the strength required to do bodyweight stuff to the things actual strength athletes do it's fairly obvious which is harder.

Fairly redundant discussion...make a thread in the sports forum if you want me to explain it in more detail.
