Anyone play this? Looks good from the trailer and its free to play.

"free to play" usually means "if you want to do anything, it will take lots of small payments that add up to more than a normal game", but I've had a look at the FAQs and there's no mention of anything in that game costing anything. So how are they making money from it?

From what I have read you can buy better guns. Seems there is a lot of cheaters playing it though. I might download it at some point as it looks interesting, a bit like GTA.

I only found out about it as a few people I watch on youtube are in the trailer. Tobuscus, seananners, cory williams and katers17.

GamersFirst marketplace integration, paying real money for better stuff in game.

Yes, that's I expected. But the FAQ on the website states what you can buy in GamersFirst games and it states nothing at all for APB. Out of date, maybe.

Free to play...as long as you want to be at a disadvantage against other players. Bet you can spend a lot more on it than on a normal game.

I'm not irritated by "lots of small payments" games per se. I'm irritated by how much they're pushed as being free, free, free, completely free, yes they're free, absolutely free, nothing to pay, really free, utterly free. At least this one looks like a proper game. I'm playing a Flash game online where you can pay over £100 for in-game stuff. For a very simple Flash game. Silly business model - hardly anyone buys anything, so it's still a level playing field.

If I'm going to be paying money for a game, I want to know in advance what I'm paying for and what it costs. I don't want to be kept in the dark about it and told that it's free...and then find out that if I want to be able to shoot through the body armour all the other players are wearing I'll need to pay £5 for upgraded guns or if I want to be able to stop other players hacking my head off with the vorpal swords they have then I'll need to pay £5 for Shining Necklace of Protection, or whatever.

I have been subscribed to her channel for years (for the fitness tips) and did not know this .

She claims her porn past was 'bad times' etc, but in reality she's a liar. Her and her husband's YouTube channel is a money-making machine; titallation for men - it's shot and sounds like something you'd fap to - and the actual diet/workout advice for women is awful, even dangerous (whilst adopting a cult-like 'don't listen to anyone else but me!' stance). It's a real shame more people don't see through it.

If you have followed her for a long time you'd see how her obsessive regime has left her with a far less attractive body than a few years back (when she used to do proper weights and eat normally etc).
