dangerous patrol with possible ambush ahead

Perhaps discharging his weapon might have given their position away?

tbh I'm surprised that link has not been removed and an infraction doled out given some of its repeated slow motion content and the family standards of this forum.

Doesn't turn my stomach to see it twitching and convulsing like that, but I'm sure it's not what the forum needs to enrich it.

Can't show the bwobble, but it's ok to shoot dogs.

Actually pretty good mate - Very dragonforce-esque (not a bad thing) lead vocals can kill a band, but hes pretty strong if not a little too "high"

Not that I want to keep discussing the Iraq video as I think it's off down the wrong road already but it does boil my **** when some wet liberal who doesn't appear to live in the real world pipes up about the dog.
I'm all for banishing cruelty toward any animal but in that situation, in a war zone, in a foreign country where you have no idea about the intent of that dog or whether it has rabies or not, there is absolutely no other choice to make. The last thing you need is an injury, even a minor one can get infected. The dude is a trained killer, you absolutely cannot expect him to be "aww silly cute dog barking at me" in that environment.
It's a threat - it goes down. Simple as that.

Are you in the armed forces?

My bands first music video!!

I'm the left-handed guitarist with the red guitar!

Seriously awesome dude

Shooting a dog that's clearly trying to attack would be the least of my worries in a situation like that - animal cruelty doesn't even come into it and I wouldn't give it a second thought. That said, making a video of it with music playing on top is a little tasteless.

Shooting that dog was disgusting behaviour. However, I'm well aware that such a job with such 'possibilities' attracts disgusting, simple-minded people.

...and is that another dog you decided to kill and burn at the end?

Excellent reply, thanks for baiting me. I suggest you grow a pair of the obvious and go to your local Army Careers Office, sign up, go through the training, do your jumps, do a tour, get shot at and then you might just have the relevant life experience to comment on a situation you have no understanding of.

Or if you are already in the Army, then God help us.

The guy just looks like he got stuck and then fired because he was frightened of the dog? No idea.

Still tasteless putting that scene in the film however, especially when you know most people here aren't soldiers and would obviously be upset.

To be fair, it did not really need to go in a video although I would not be bothered either way, what happens happens.

However - You CERTAINLY did not need to glamorise it with the slow motion replays. Uncalled for no matter what your profession, soldier or not.
