The shooting of the dog itself seemed quite unnecessary to me too, surely a swift kick in the face would have scared it off and not alerted any taliban within hearing range. Regardless, the uploader shouldn't have included the footage in the video as (although it doesn't overly bother me) many people will be offended or disgusted by it.

agreed, whilst in some respects I can undertand the shooting I cant understand the mulitple repeations of the incident in the video. Do they not kill enough out there, thats probably the most worrying thing - that the video uploader almost reveals in the fact that they just killed something.

Sorry, should have made it clearer in the video but the dog was only hit in the leg, hence the spasms. it was later put on a heli to bastion, treated and returned to the owner, with a muzzle on.:)

ahahaha after the recoil from more people than myself on the subject, you do a 180 and come up with this BS?

Could clearly see it being hit square in the back. Pathetic.

Exactly what I was thinking and I was one of the ones not fazed by it either, haha.

Unless of course this is some of the typical forces humour..
