*** Youtube/Video thread ***

When you get truly lost on YT you'll look back on this day and laugh.
You just moved to the edge of the pavement and thought about stepping onto the grass :p

yer this is not really lost in YT is it..
sit down with a few beers and watch YT, when you get the end of your beers look where you are then lol.

but to be fair t the guy if your not really into gaming then a xbox x would be fantastic. its all the other stuff you can do with a top end PC that really take a pc to the next lvl

Why would a gaming console be 'fantastic' for somebody who isn't really into gaming? That makes no sense at all.

i mean if your not into or haven't dipped your toe in the pool before and you coming to gaming with a clean slate, then i could understand why you would think its fantastic.

I found this an amusingly presented superficial summary of how matter works on various scales and the current state of knowledge regarding that:

Generally, little stuff comes under the title "quantum physics" and big stuff (which we'll get to in a moment) is known as "relativistic physics". Scientists are working very hard on getting the two of them to move in together, but currently they have severe commitment issues.

I’m on his side to be honest. For gaming, consoles offer much better bang for buck than gaming PC’s now.
Depends on a game, I don't mind consoles they good and they will get better, but PC its just far better for everything(work, gaming etc etc). I am still running on i7 3770k at 4,5 for over 5 years now and I think this chip will serve me for another 1-2 years.
I try to update my gpu every 2 years not cheap but if I only had a console ill still need pc for other stuff.

I loved the bit about getting pregnant.. she says for some reason they never seem to manage to go full term.. :p

I'm more impressed that Willoughby didn't start laughing which ultimately culminates in her going into "incredibly high pitched squeaking screeching" voice mode that she does on an annoyingly consistent basis. I've never heard anyone like her that after laughing her voice goes so high pitched she may as well not bother trying to talk.

@Housey your mugs reminded me of this video, which as far as I'm concerned is one of the best vids on Youtube.

That was nice... reminded me of why I love driving so much... it's one of the few occasions where I get to enjoy that child-like feeling again.

LOL... that ran through my head way too often... til I realised it was just a mental exercise based around laziness and/or selfishness to avoid putting in the effort to do nice things.

That's actually one of the things I consider to be the benefit of atheism... compared to those who have based their behaviour around the guidance of an organised religion... if they have no such belief system, then they're closer to a purer form of morality if they choose to do the right thing for the sake of doing the right thing. It's a purity of choice that's unavailable to others.

The conclusion I've come to is simply that the action is the measure, if there is any measure... your reasons for doing the right thing are less important than the act... the biggest negatively impacting factor is more like to be how you torture yourself, un-necessarily when you do the wrong thing if you believe that such a thing could place you in the bad place. We are not punished by anything else, we only ever punish ourselves, often without viable justification.

The reward / punishment structure is human, not devine.

Ultimately the carious reward / punishment systems on earth tend to favour what most consider to be good and bad. That in itself speaks to the basic "good" nature of humanity... even when you take the many varying factors into account.

Someone on this forum put me onto this about 6 months ago. But it's grown to become one of my favourite covers; perhaps better than the original. Astonishing. Simply astonishing.
