I still cannot get over how ridiculously amazing Charlie Murphy's stories were, especially the ones about Prince. And they were absolutely all true. RIP you legendary mofos. Such a shame they are both gone. I bet they are eating pancakes up there somewhere.

I watched that video the other day. I am pretty sure they pugged them into the mains to use but i was also a bit confused as i didnt see them attach any normal mains wiring. Unless i am completely mistaken.
for me the PC wins, with a sound card though.
so maybe unfair as its more money.

The conditions are crap - multiple occupancy rooms, pay is crap - compared to Emiraitis and the Western world. But having had unescorted access to several of the workforce living areas and the workers themselves, the above video is click bait and at worst, outrage on others behalf.
'Slave camps' - they are like military blocks or American Apartment blocks. Perfectly livable.
'Slave buses' - you mean their transport to work and back?
Having spoken to many foreign workers there, many who have been there 15, 20 years plus, they tell me if they didn't want to be there, they would leave, but they don't want to. For many, they have no work opportunities in their home countries, at least this way they are supporting their families back home, who otherwise would have nothing.
I am not saying they are living the high life, i certainly could not do it, they are treated as third rate citizens, but there are others queuing to take their place. Unfortunately it's a means to an end for some.
