YouTube

I don't subscribe to anyone. I use it as a visual Google for things I need to know.
Exactly this.

I find subscribing and watching someone do something related every week rather odd. I get why people would do this, but it isn't for me.

Although if there really is nothing else to do then "How to Basics" is always good for learning things.

Youtube has advanced from this, there it's basically TV now. I follow all my sports teams via youtube, as there isn't really content anywhere else anymore. Plus podcasts (video casts, I suppose?) are all on youtube now.

Think of it as regular TV but you have your favourite shows that you watch once a week.

Subscribing means you don’t need to search for it every time but it’s under your favourites, which is titled as subscriptions instead. It’s like tv on demand.

By doing this you skip and ignore all the bad day time tv program too so you don’t even need to waste your time to press NEXT on the remote. Yes I watch it on my TV.

If I want a video instructions video, I use it for that too.

I thought the same but you really get to 'know' and follow the creators.

What do you like watching on it? Who do you subscribe to?
It's pretty much replaced my regular TV watching, I'm subbed to so many channels that it's too long to list, but they usually fall into Gaming, Retro Gaming and Movies. And there's loads of fascinating documentaries on there too

Assorted gaming and tech sites ( cba to list them ).
Viva La Dirt League
Thoughty2
Lets Game it Out
Mr Ballen
Donut Operator
Forgotten Weapons
Jonathan Pie
Chris Ramsey
colinfurze
Lindybeige

I watch tonnes of it daily though. Either actively or have it playing in my headphones whilst I do other bits.

What do you like watching on it?

Lots of things. History (e.g. Told In Stone, Mark Felton, Invicta, etc). Pre-modern arms and armour (e.g. Knyght Errant, Schola Gladiatoria, etc). Making stuff (e.g. Tod's Workshop, Primitive Technology, etc, etc). Some channels about some games (e.g. Glock9, Capp00, Synonymous, etc). Some channels about ideas and tech (e.g. Curious Droid, Joe Scott, etc). Plainly Difficult, a surprisingly interesting channel about why and how various majot failures happened. Dam failures, radiation-related accidents, that sort of thing. There are dozens of channels I watch with varying degrees of regularity. I also use it for videos explaining how to do something I want to do myself, like repairing a washing machine.

Who do you subscribe to?

None of them. I will not give Google my phone number and a copy of my passport and who knows what else they demand now to do what they want with. Nor do I want Google to manipulate what I watch in order to manipulate me and profit off me. So I don't have a Google account and wouldn't use one if I had one. So no logging into Youtube for me.

Waxing is for chumps. Real men use Veet

I used that, back when it was called Immac. It claimed to be rose scented. That was a lie. It smelled of harsh chemicals. I also made the mistake of standing with my legs together after using Immac to depilate my legs. Since I was going to be wearing a posing pouch and stockings, I decided to depilate all of my legs since they're hairy all the way. So Immac from my toes to my hips. Of course, standing with my legs together meant that I got a fair bit of the stuff on my pubic hair. That was really, really itchy.
