I suppose if you remove all emotion and empathy towards the people involved and look purely at the details of the incident, then it can be quite funny in an absurd,"wtf?" type of way.

Since most people will already have a predisposition toward the victim (old helpless and ill woman) and the offender (filthy chav scumbag), then it isn't really funny at all.
